Managing Partner, EY South African Tax Practice

Ekow is the Managing Partner for EY’s South African Tax practice. He is a member of the EY South Africa Executive Board and part of our global network of international Tax and Transaction specialists. In this role, he represents clients on a range of tax matters, with emphasis on complex domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and divestiture transactions. He specialises in the tax aspects of the formation and operation of private equity and venture capital, and on the investments made by those funds.
Ekow is a home-grown talent of EY, having started as an Associate in our Cambridge practice and making Partner eight years later.

His career at EY has spanned several geographies and sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MSc in Taxation from Oxford University.
