Alina drives corporate strategy and oversees the company's corporate investment and strategic partners. Founders Factory Africa is a tailored, tech-enabled, corporate-backed venture development company, building and scaling Africa's ventures across the continent. FFA is based on a unique model of combining leading corporate investors and partners, with a 50+ operational team, to design, build and grow Africa's best businesses. With 40 companies in its current portfolio as at Jan 2022, this will grow to over 88 companies by 2024. Backed by Standard Bank Group, Netcare Group, and The Small Foundation, FFA delivers commercial and impact returns.
Prior to FFA, Alina led corporate partnerships at SPRING Accelerator, which has scaled over 75 businesses in 9 countries across Africa and South Asia. She has catalyzed and delivered partnerships with companies like Deutsche Bank, Hogan Lovells, PwC, Merck, and Unilever. Before that, Alina spent seven years at the World Bank, where she built collaborations with corporations, international organisations, multilateral development agencies and foundations.
Alina began her career in Australia, working at two international media companies of the WPP Group, with global clients such as British Petroleum (BP), Kodak, Ford, Miele, GE Money, and Fosters Group.
