Mike Quinn

Co-Founder & CEO, Boost

Mike Quinn is the co-founder and CEO of Boost, the conversational commerce platform powering growth for Africa's convenience retailers.

Prior to Boost, he was the co-founder and CEO of Zoona, one of Africa's pioneering fintech companies that scaled to process $2.5 billion in transactions for 2 million active customers. He wrote a book on his Zoona experience called Failing To Win: Hard-earned lessons from a purpose-driven startup, and was recognized with the Edward W. Claugus Award for Leadership and Innovation in Financial Inclusion from Accion and Social Entrepreneur of the Year from the Schwab Foundation.

Mike holds an MSc in Development Management at LSE, an MBA from Oxford's Saïd Business School where he was a Skoll Scholar for Social Entrepreneurship, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from UBC.
