Elemchi Nwosu

Elemchi Nwosu is a notable change-maker in the economic development space. In March 2022, she was named one of the ‘Top 60 African Women in Development’ by Donors for Africa due to her impact in this field.
Her expertise is highly sought after as a partnerships and resource mobilization expert who facilitates trade and investment ties between African countries and the Western world. Over the course of her career, Elemchi has managed 20+ multi-donor economic development projects across 15 countries in Africa including Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Rwanda.
She holds a First-Class Diplomatic Studies MSt (Master of Studies) degree from the University of Oxford and gained recognition after achieving one of the highest scores in her 2018/19 cohort. Her thesis, which explored China-Nigeria relations and the impact on Nigeria’s economic growth, was officially published after receiving a First-Class Award and has been acknowledged by leaders on the continent. Elemchi was asked to serve as Keynote Speaker for the African Coalition for Corporate Accountability’s 6th General Assembly held in Côte d'Ivoire.
