Bradley Poku-Amankwah
Special Aide, Minister of Energy & MP for Manhyia South at Government of Ghana
Bradley Poku-Amankwah serves as Special Aide to Ghana’s Ministry for Energy, and Secretary to the Ghana national Energy Transition committee which has been tasked to develop plans towards the country’s net-zero agenda. Additionally he was appointed by His Excellency the President to serve as the country’s youngest board member of a state enterprise in July 2021.
He is passionate about African affairs; previously leading the LSE Africa Summit as Co-Director for the 2018 edition, and cofounder of the St Andrews Africa Summit previous speakers for which have included the President of Ghana and Nobel Laureate Lehman Gbowee of Liberia. He has previously worked as a trade service officer at the UK-Ghana chamber of commerce, and before then an award-winning startup entrepreneur working in the clean energy space.
