Tochi Ginigeme

Deputy Managing Director, Oxford Seed Fund

Tochi is an economist with a decade of operational experiences across multiple industries: pensions, investment banking, energy infrastructure and most recently FMCG – where she spent years executing marketing campaigns and leading sales teams at global brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABInBev, Africa Zone).

She is also the founder of Mesh Network, a platform established in 2016 to connect entrepreneurs looking to either launch or scale their ventures with potential business partners.

Tochi is currently a member of Green Templeton College and is one of two Eni-Oxford Africa Scholarship recipients studying towards an MBA at Saïd Business School. She is an alumna of the University of Ibadan (Nigeria), INSEAD’s High Impact Executive Leadership Programme (Singapore) and has previous received business and finance education at Harvard and Wharton schools respectively.

As a co-curricular, Tochi serves as a deputy managing director at the Oxford Seed Fund (OSF), a student-led VC firm which operates out of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Saïd Business School. In this role, she looks after the fund’s deal pipeline, championing its venture sourcing and events initiatives.

She is passionate about entrepreneurship and dreams of launching a specialised venture fund to support founders in Africa and other emerging markets.
